Which platforms is GTA 6 releasing on?

GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to Sixty Second Vice's video, the physical version has no disc, only a download code in the box that can be redeemed as soon as you receive it to pre-load the game. Digital pre-loading starts November 10, 2026, and code-in-box physical copies reach retailers from November 12. The Ultimate Edition is digital only. GTA6 Shortcut's video confirms that PS4 and Xbox One are not among the official platforms, and that no PC release has been announced. ActuGaming's article reports that former Rockstar North technical director Obbe Vermeij believes the game will reach PC quickly thanks to generative AI, but this is his opinion, not an official announcement.
