Rockstar has officially commented on the open world of GTA 6, and six regions have been confirmed: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. According to Heist Prep's video, the Leonida map is, by most estimates, about twenty times bigger than the map of GTA 3 from 2001, which fit on three islands. According to Vicecitycapital's video, Vice City means neon, beaches and money, the Leonida Keys mean islands, boats and beach bars, Grassrivers means swamps, airboats and gators, Port Gellhorn means motels and trailer parks, Ambrosia is a sugar town run by bikers, and Mount Kalaga means hills, hunters and dirt bikes. The game launches November 19, 2026.
