After a robbery in GTA 6, the police appear far more advanced than in GTA 5. According to WiredInFacts' video, in Rockstar's own demo officers pull up outside the store and gather at the front, and Edge describes a much more sophisticated system. Running out the front door and shooting may therefore no longer work. The demo shows one way out: some buildings have a back door. For identification, Dropped In's video reports that police may track your face, clothes, car, weapon, and whether a camera caught you, so returning in the same outfit can give you away. Gridline Six's video says police also check whether witnesses saw you working with a partner; splitting up can remove that clue, but it is not a guaranteed instant escape. Zerando Ao Extremo's video adds that witnesses, cameras, a change of clothes and the vehicle used all matter. Simply running away does not make the wanted stars disappear.
