A non-scripted GTA 6 demo filmed by Edge Magazine shows a police canine catching Jason on foot after a motorcycle crash, without any officer's help. According to the video by Gator GTA 6 FR, which cites Beebom and Polygon, Rockstar gives the player a choice: shoot the dog to keep escaping, or let it go. Shooting the dog has a lasting cost, since it lowers your Criminal Profile, the system that tracks your actions across the whole game. The choice therefore affects Jason's reputation throughout the adventure, not just the current chase. Sparing the dog is the better option if you want to keep a cleaner Criminal Profile.
